Recently, the esteemed Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Mohammad Jahangir Alam of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET), visited the Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) on September 4, 2023. During his visit, he conducted an inspection of the ETE department and provided detailed guidance on enhancing the quality of education and expanding research activities. Under his leadership, Vice-Chancellor has been suggested to organizing weekly, monthly, and annual seminars, as well as international conferences in collaboration with various industries and companies. This collaboration has been focused on accelerating Outcome-Based Education (OBE) in our curriculum. During this time, the department's faculty members have been presenting the results of their research, and they have been addressing various constraints within the department, including the need for improved facilities such as smart classrooms, advanced seminar rooms, temperature-controlled laboratories, and shared spaces for teachers and students. In light of the discussions, Professor Dr. Jahangir Alam acknowledged the department's significant role in advancing research in recent years and assured prompt solutions to the mentioned issues. He also interacts closely with the department's staff, encouraging their active involvement and dedication to their responsibilities.
